Our Shows Tring-Rail 2010 – Date to be confirmed - click Tring-Rail 2010 TaD-Rail 2010 will be on Saturday 9th October
2010 - click Tad-Rail 2010 Layouts The new 00 gauge layout takes a step forward. The
two main running lines have now been laid and the fiddle yard nears
completion. Baseboard alterations are underway for the raised separate (not a
branch) line. Point motors already installed are being fitted with micro
switches and wired up. Scenery has been started with the visible track
sprayed rust colour and polystyrene cut to shape and glued – what a mess! Oh!
By the way it’s called Denbridge and Saundersford. Rugby Central has reached the scenery stage. Carl
(bridges) and Geoff (water tower and timber shed & workshop) have
completed some buildings, off Site. John and Peter are busy with the
extensive wiring of the boards so the layout has had to be dismantled and
running abandoned. Click here for Photographs. STOP PRESS Tring–Rail 2009 on 28th March attracted a record crowd
and proved to be another well run, but small, show. Our thanks to Chris Hall
and all his efforts. It’s going to be harder to improve on it next year.
